Privacy Policy

Information we collect
Your email address (for sign-in and account communication); the charge details, documents, and description you submit (bill, receipt, screenshots, and your written explanation); basic usage data (how many disputes you’ve generated); and payment information, which is collected and stored by Stripe, not by us — we never see or store your full card number.
How we use your information
To generate your free analysis and dispute package, to operate and bill your subscription, to send you service emails (sign-in links, receipts, and — if you opt in by marking a dispute "sent" — a follow-up reminder), and to maintain and improve the service.
AI processing of your content
To generate your dispute package, the charge details and documents you submit are sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) for processing. We instruct it to use only the information you provide, but you should avoid uploading anything more sensitive than necessary (see "What not to upload" below).
What not to upload
Please don’t upload Social Security numbers, passwords, full card numbers, or other sensitive information beyond what’s needed to describe your dispute. You can delete any uploaded file at any time.
Who we share data with
We share data only with the service providers that make FixACharge work: Supabase (account and database hosting), Stripe (subscription billing), Anthropic (AI dispute-package generation), and Resend (transactional email). We do not sell your personal information.
Data retention
We keep your account and dispute history for as long as your account is active, plus a reasonable period afterward for legal, tax, and dispute-resolution purposes. You can request deletion of your account and data by contacting us (see Contact page).
Security
We use industry-standard measures (encrypted connections, access controls) to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we can’t guarantee absolute security.
Children’s privacy
FixACharge is not directed to, and should not be used by, anyone under 18.
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to opt out of certain uses. Contact us to make a request.
Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your session. We don’t use third-party advertising trackers.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service changes. We’ll post the updated version here with a new "last updated" date.
